Bleck!!!!

Hi, everybody! Mommy is not feeling so great so she said I could play on the computer... Mommy and Daddy took this photo of me on May 15 just before soccer practice... Mommy said this better be the only way she ever sees me behind bars... whatever that means. Anyway, little did she know that in a couple of hours she would be catching puke in the middle of the Publix bakery and spending the evening in the ER with me... can we say ear infection times 2!!!! Ow.....
I feel better but don't ask Big Brother Grady Joe how he is doing today. He woke Mommy and Daddy up on Wednesday morning with a puke fest of his own and darn it if I didn't have to go to the ER for the whole day with him. NO FUN!!!!! Guess what... he started again today... what that kid won't do to get some attention...
I guess mommy was mad that no one was paying attention to her anymore since her cancer is all better, so she started puking on Thursday night and SHE had to spend the night in the ER. Apparently they asked her if they could use her port to give her some fluids and she said something that I am not allowed to repeat... so I won't and they didn't! Finally she came home and then when she got up she was apparently still feeling like she wasn't getting enough attention so she started complaining about her ear, so off the the doctor I had to go again... Mommy has an ear infection now...
Well after all this, I was pi$$ed, so I decided to pitch a fit and start pulling on my ears so that someone would pay attention to me... and guess what? They did, and Mommy, Daddy and Grady took me to the doctor and now I have an ear infection. So, basically we love you all, but we would definitely not recommend a visit to the Panama City Harris Family.
Love, the ever cute and cuddly... Gant Gant

"Yes, I am a pirate, two hundred years too late..."

"... the cannons don't 'under' there is nothin' to plunder..."
So, I was upstairs playing with Grant in his room for a few minutes... eventually, he and I decided it was time to go back downstairs to check on the Big Brothers... and look what I found... a miniature Jack Sparrow passed out on the sofa... It looks like Robin was trying to get him to play ball in his sleep as well.
When Grant, Grady and I were on our way to pick up Todd Jr from school, the sky was very ominous and it looked like it could be a bad storm... after some conversation about this, there was a bright flash of lightening and a roll of thunder, and then, "Mommy, I heard the under!" Oh, that Grady Joe.
By the way, my PET Scan came back clear... no sign of cancer!!!!!! Yipee!!!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you special Mom's out there!!!! I am writing this from Tampa... and I am all alone!!! I drove here today from Panama City for my PET Scan tomorrow morning. So, unfortunately, I did not really get to spend Mother's Day with my boys... it really stinks too because my Mom is in PC with them. A BIG thank you to MeMe for traveling from New Orleans yesterday to help Dat Dat with our Triple Trouble. I was really sad to leave and I really hate that drive, but I am here, I will have my test tomorrow and should have the results on Wednesday when I see the doctor. I decided to hijack some photos off Grammie and Dada's computer since I don't have access to my photos... this first pic is from Grady Joe's Birthday... Fun! Fun! Fun!

I also found a photo of Aunt Grace and Mason... WOW how time flies!!!! Look how tiny Mason is!!! And just think... he is taller than Grady now!
I cannot wait to see you, Mason and Madison on Tuesday! Also, I hope you had an AWESOME time at Disney... You DESERVE IT!!!

OMG!!!! What the Heck!!! Me with hair. I think Grady really looks like Grant in this photo... just not the flames on his head.
Anyway, I just wanted to wish all you Mom's a special Mother's Day. Especially to MeMe and Grammie... they have both taken such good care of me and my boys this last year. Thank you for all your love ...
Also, a special shout out to my sister Liz... I love your blog! Kiss Dylan and Ayden for me and give yourself a special Mother's Day hug from me... hope to see you soon!

Like Great Grandad always says...

... our little ones are just too pretty to be boys... Poor Grant... but look how beautiful he is... ah, just more ammo for future blackmail/embarrassing girlfriend situations. Yes, this is my wig, which I never have worn. Grammie and Dada were so nice to take me to the American Cancer Society in Tampa to get it... but, it just was never very comfortable... I preferred a scarf or just embracing my baldness. Anyway, I came across it yesterday and put it on... when Grant saw me he cried... so that answered the "How do I look?" question... Grady laughed... but he was always in favor of the "Hantana"... that is code name for Hannah Montana... wig. Little did I know I would wind up blond anyway.
One of the moms from Todd's soccer team just emailed us a bunch of photos from last Saturday's game.

Check out the awesome action shot... Yes, I think I can hear Coach Todd yelling "STAY ON YOUR FEET!!!!"

You've Got A Friend in Me

For those of you who have young children and/or have seen Toy Story and Toy Story 2 more than once... (which if you have toddlers, you have probably seen them more than once. or even twice... you probably cannont even count how many times you have heard "To infinity and beyond!")... this photo is for you.
Emily may no longer have room in her heart or life for Jessie, but Grady does... I caught him watching a movie, snuggling with Jessie... how sweet. Also, Woody and Jessie have been going everywhere with us... they even get buckled into the backseat with Grady everyday and make the trek with us to pick up Todd Jr from school...

God Bless Netflix...

Before we get to Netflix... check out the cute baby I had the pleasure of keeping company this past Sunday... is he something or what? Grant was fascinated with the sand... he kept picking up handfuls and letting it slip through is fingers... he doesn't seem to mind the taste of it too much either. Yuck!
Grant has also picked up a few new words... His vocabulary now includes "Mommy, Daddy, Grady, Nigh - Nigh, Puppy, uh oh" and we were working really hard on "cookie" today... but he doesn't really need to say it because the lady at Publix who gives out the cookies understands what he wants... he is not very subtle trying to jump out of the shopping cart to get to the cookies, waving his arms and grinning from ear to ear. Who needs words when you have all that animation?

There was also a soccer game this weekend... The sharks did not win but it was a fantastic game... Todd Jr scored his first goal of the season and it was AMAZING!!! He was so excited... as was the coach!!!! The game was even against his coach from last season, so it made it a bit more interesting.

So, we now get Netflix movies... we decided to sign up because we thought it would be a better deal that renting movies at our local Blockbuster, and it is... especially since both of the ones in Panama City closed about a month after we started receiving the movies... We love it and definitely recommend it to EVERYONE... the turnaround on the movies is so fast... Anyway, Todd has been renting all kinds of movies... he even watched Casablanca and Citizen Cane while the little boys and I were in Tampa... But let me tell you what he is watching RIGHT NOW... Ultraman... Todd and the boys love it... for those of you who are not familiar... as I was not... it is one of those Japanese monster serials from the 60's... Google it.... that is all I can say... we have all even been coaxed into singing the theme song... the translated into English theme song... the funny thing is all the shows have been dubbed into English, but there are some parts of the shows that are not... they are still in Japanese... thank goodness exactly the same thing happens in every episode or we would be completely lost... but if you ask Todd... well his exact words, no word is "AWESOME!" I am just waiting for Bride Wars and The Reader...
