Poor Grant

Poor Grant, my a#@! This was the face I got after telling him "No, No, No!" And what could have been so bad??? Lactation abuse (if you know what I mean). Little brat has a tooth... and he likes to pinch... if he is not careful, he will be on his way to formula central!!!! Check out those big tears... and that lip... still cute though... even when he is trying to get away with something... much like his older brothers...

Rub-a-dub-dub, look who's sitting in the tub!!!

Hello everybody... Mommy is feeling a bit under the weather this evening, so she said I could go play on the computer... She told Grady and Todd to go play in the street... I think all the Afrin has really gone to her head... However, she did find a way to make it through my bathtime and get these photos of me sitting all on my own... Pretty cool, huh? Actually, I am really enjoying this sitting up business, I can see alot more and I don't cry nearly as much... I have noticed this is something Mommy and Dat Dat really like... I just cry because I don't want them to forget I am here too... The only time sitting is not cool is when Grady pushes me over steals my toys and hides my pacifier... I have two words for him...JUST WAIT!!!

Oh well, gotta go... man am I cute... Grant

Pump It Up!!!

Today was one of THOSE days, so I decided to finally take the boys to Pump It Up... We actually had a really good time and it was not as crazy as I thought it might be, especially during the middle of the summer. Here is a photo of Todd Jr playing air hockey with his new "best friend" (this is what he calls all children his age) and he has absolutely no idea what his name was. I am afraid non of the "action shots" of Todd jumping or sliding really turned out, but he really did seem to have a good time and was a very good boy!!

And now on to Grady... basically, he wanted nothing to do with any of the sliding, jumping or obstacle course... he found these rings and that was what entertained him for the majority of the time we were there... He finally decided to give one of the bounce houses a try about 10 minutes before our time was up... he was so cute... he kept wanting to give me a kiss thru the mesh wall... YUCK!!! I let him kiss Grant's head instead...
Grant also seemed to have a good time watching his big brothers and all the other kids jump around... But check out the photo... Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a sitter!!!!! ***I just looked down on the floor next to me where Grant has been playing... he is fast asleep... what a cutie!!*** We have really been working with him... he kept this pose for about 10 minutes... what a good boy... now we need to crawl... then walk... then mommy will definitely need a mental institution.... Guess what Todd Jr told me the other day... only 10 more years until he gets a license... OMG!!!!!!

The Big Easy... continued

On Friday, we decided to check out the Audubon Zoo. We saw snakes, an albino Gator, and Todd Jr. even got to pet an Indian Elephant... of course the camera battery had to die at that exact moment...

Todd Jr, Foe Foe and Grady climbed to the top of Monkey Hill, the highest point in New Orleans... Grady just wanted to go so he could see the "Lion King." Needless to say, around the noon hour in New Orleans in the middle of July, the weather can be more than a little toasty... So, we headed home for a sandwich and a cool down and then back out for a ride on the Street Car (otherwise known as the "choo choo train, mommy" according to Grady Joe)... unfortunately, I did not get any photos of our adventure because Grant Albert James Harris was being so wiggly!!! Also, Me Me dropped her phone when we had to switch cars while she was helping Grady Joe with his "plip plops."... Never the less, we had a good time, there are so many beautiful homes along St. Charles... it is also so good to see so much hustle and bustle in NOLA.... New Orleans may have been down, but it is certainly not out....

I actually just heard from Me Me, she got a new phone, so all is well.... they miss us bunches and we miss them too... Todd Jr cried himself to sleep Saturday night after we got home... He was ready to get back in the car on Sunday morning to head back to Me Me and Foe Foe's and was excessively disappointed that we were not going back.

So, now we look ahead to the rest of the summer... and the impending arrival of the first day of school...

The Big Easy

Well, after returning from Tampa, Mommy and the little boys set out "on the road again." This time we headed west on our way to New Orleans to see Me Me and Foe Foe!!!! However, before we got all the way to the Big Easy we wanted to stop and have a visit with Nana and Father Dear. It was so wonderful to see them. They looked really good and were very excited to have the little men to love on for a while.

While we are glad to have finally made the move to Panama City, we miss seeing Nana and Father Dear as much as we did while we were in Alabama.
Well, with out too much drama we made it to New Orleans... as you can tell, Maddie and Grant hit it off... Maddie loves little boys and all the food messes they leave behind... She is sooo funny... Grant would get so excited when she would walk by...
On Wednesday we visited the new Audubon Institute Insectarium and saw lots of creepy crawlies... Unfortunately... or I guess fortunately, we missed out on the bug menu... however, I have to admit I really wanted to try the Chocolate CHIRP Cookies. On Thursday, Elizabeth, Dylan and Ayden came down from Denham Springs and we went back downtown to the Louisiana Children's Museum. We all had so much fun!

We even decided to take a stroll thru the Riverwalk... Look Dat Dat, your boys can find you a gator anywhere.

How was our weekend? A picture is worth a thousand words!

Yep, they slept from Tampa to Tallahassee... we stopped for a bite to eat and made it home with out too much drama... The only crying was really from Todd Jr. He is really sad to see his cousins move.
Here is a pic of Grady enjoying some watermelon....

And here are Todd and Timmy trying to get their spidey webs to work...

Wish You Were Here!!!!

Dear Grammie and Dada,

Mommy let me take over the blog today... she and Dat Dat are really tired, they brought us all the way from Panama City last night, and even though they were very tired when we got here, they decided that since it was a vacation I could stay up as late as I wanted... that turned out to be just a little past 1am.

Today we went to your pool and tried not to be the rowdy obnoxious group... let's put it this way, don't be surprised if you get a letter from your homeowners association asking for your card back... I just hope we can sneak past them again tomorrow....

Later, we went to Uncle Tim and Aunt Susan's house... we will be so sad to see them go to "New Nork" ... we had a great time with Kati, Timmy, Sarah, Jessica, Mason, and Madison... we ate hot dogs and hamburgers... ok, so I didn't eat hot dogs and hamburgers, Mommy made me eat some nasty green crap... she calls it food, but if I knew the number to Child Services, we would just see what they had to say about that... Green Beans, yeah right!!!

We even got to play with Coco...she is really cool... she kept whacking me with her tail and I tried to give her my pacifier but no one seemed to think that was cool... I am gonna see if I can grab her tail tomorrow... or maybe an ear... Robin really seems to like it when Grady does that...

We decided not to go see a fireworks show, but that was okay, because all we had to do was look out your windows... AWESOME!!!

Anyway, thank you for letting us stay here... I promise I will try to keep Mommy and Dat Dat in line and make them clean up their mess... you know how adults can be at times.... I guess I should go to bed now, I am getting tired and pissy...

I love you and wish you were here,
Grant Albert James Harris
(That is what Mommy always calls me when I pull her hair!)

PS. Dat Dat and Uncle Tim said that I was not supposed to tell you what they did to your TV... I would not look at the lower left hand corner on the back... not pretty... they seem to have gotten it back up there okay... the color is off a little but we all like green... Right? Just don't tell them you heard it from me....
