Do you remember where you were 10 years ago today?

I do.
All Saints Episcopal Church
Winter Park, Florida
Marrying the MOST WONDERFUL MAN!!!

It was a beautiful day, but I remember that it was very hot.
As a matter of fact, I was a little nervous when I got to the end of the aisle...
Todd was sweating bullets...
Wasn't til after the ceremony that I found out that the photographer had kept him outside for an hour before the ceremony.

What a beautiful group of people!
Patrick and Ashlynne are kneeling on the front row.
Chris and Grace are just behind them.
Matthew and my sister, Liz just behind them.
I hope if you are reading this blog you know the two in the middle.
I still hated my hair that day!
BTW, so did Todd, it was straightened... he almost cried.
Susan and Uncle Tim are next to Todd.
And Phillip and Dawn again in the front.

Todd and I are so blessed to have such wonderful and supportive friends and family!

A group we have certainly looked to and leaned on in the years since.
Todd and I have experienced much in our decade of marriage.
So much of it has been wonderful!

I would love to say, " I wouldn't change a moment of it."
But that just wouldn't be true.
There isn't much I wouldn't give to change the photo above to include another smile.
However, I know I would not have made it through without my handsome, sweet, loving, hottie of a husband!

On a somewhat related note...
Isn't it funny how one small decision....
like facing my shyness...
Auditioning for the 1997 Walt Disney World Traditions Team...
Making it...
And being scheduled with my friend Ki'i to teach a Traditions Class on May 7, 1997...
One which included this mighty spectacle...
... And a new Cast Member named Todd Harris...

... Who coincidentally I did not see again for another 6 months when we were both hired to facilitate DAKlimation....
And the rest, as they say, is history...

My Dearest Todd, I love you more than you will ever know... more than all the blades of grass on the earth... and more than the number of steps it takes to run the Walt Disney World Marathon!!!!

Where is Huey Lewis when you need him?

Last night was movie night... well, after a 2 hour rerun of...
Now that show is funny!!!!

So, after the kids were asleep, we watched...

It was moderately funny and unnecessarily raunchy at times, but of course the best part was the references to all the 80's movies... of course John Cusak movies.... honestly, I kept waiting for his sister to appear.
Best part was some kid screaming "I want my $2!" from...

Since there were so many 80's references, and it was a movie about time travel, I kept waiting to see a Delorean or hear Huey Lewis and the News singing "Gotta Get Back in Time."

Go Bucs!

Sorry, Uncle Cory, not these...
Cuz you know Todd is never gonna give up on the....

However, Todd may have a mutiny on his hands when the rest of us jump ship to cheer on ...

Todd Jr even wants a Broncos jersey... number 15 to be specific... wonder why?

Any who.... we are all so excited, because Todd Jr got into North Bay Haven Charter Academy... they are also the Buccaneers... I tried to acquisition a photo of the logo from the Internet... and obviously, I was unsuccessful.  Sorry.
Admission to the school is based on a lottery because of the high demand and Todd Jr got his offer letter last Thursday... by 10am Friday, he was all registered.
Grady will still go to Hiland Park for his VPK but should be able to move to NBHCA without any issue for Kindergarten!  Again, we are so excited.. they have very high standards, smaller classes, etc.
Cannot Wait!!!!

Todd Jr had a basketball game last night... they lost, again... Todd did make a free throw... we were pretty "stoked."

The Triple Trouble and I went to the beach today.  It was a beautiful day... hot and sunny, perfect beach weather!  However, I constantly feel bad for the BP Cleanup workers/walkers... they are required to wear long pants and no open toed shoes!  Just not right on the beach!

By the way, the Lynn Haven Raiders Football training begins on Monday, for a full week of conditioning!
And yes, Dat Dat, I know that the Lions start this Friday!
Ah, Football Season... If you can't beat'em join'em...
Go Broncos!!!!

Old School

So,  for those of you who know us, we are very....

Just say no... right up there with South Park...
Hard to teach your children manners when they are watching this... anyway...

Todd Jr. has found a fantastic channel... Boomerang... I think it is part of the Cartoon Network, but it is completely Old School... as a matter of fact, Todd told me his favorite show was...

and

There have even been many episodes of...

However, I am not sure how I feel about the new version... I will have to watch it again to see if it is okay.

Took the Triple Trouble to the beach yesterday.
Clean, Clear and Oil Free... sounds like an Acne Product Commercial.
The people who watch for oil were out walking their "line."  (Does anyone else hear Johnny Cash?)
Sorry, no pics yet.. but just know... it was so beautiful, we are going to pick up Dat Dat from work and go again!

As per my last post, our 20 year High School Reunions were this last week and even though we did not attend either, I cannot help but feel a little nostalgic!

I am not sure about you, but my High School experience was exactly like this...

Um, so maybe not.... seeing as I never had detention... I guess I will really never know.

Maybe it was more like this...

or this...

no... this....

only kidding... but weren't they good movies...

As a matter of fact, I think we own them all on DVD and the Triple Trouble are all down for a nap....

"Don't, don't, don't you, forget about me...."

Racing By!

Our summer seems to be doing just that!!!!

We hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July.
Ours was great, if not a little damp.
We ate great food, saw exciting fireworks and enjoyed spending time with MeMe, Foe Foe, Beeka Beeka, Uncle David and Patrick... Just wish Suzi and Phillip could have joined us.

Todd Jr has been enjoying basketball... the Red Thunder have not won any of their games yet, but it is not for lack of trying.  Todd even scored 3 baskets in the last game!
He is just as intense with Basketball as he is with every other sport.
Today, the madness for Todd continues... he has gone to Soccer Camp with his buddy Sean.
By the time I left, he was happy and completely soaked from the rain.
Aaaahhh... summertime in Florida!

Grady Joe just had a FANTASTIC few days with the Drennen's in Montgomery!
He went to the pool, the zoo and even went to see...

... without his brothers...
He had a great time and I am not completely sure he was ready to come home!

Grant was an "only" child on Friday.
(Grady was still in Montgomery and Todd spent the night at Sean's)
Heck, it was really just Grant and Dat Dat since I had to go to work!
When I got home, Dat Dat informed me that his baby boy had almost brought him to tears...
They were watching...

... another great Bing Crosby flick.. courtesy of Netflix...
apparently during the last "big number" of the movie, Grant turned to his Dat Dat and said,
"Dance me?
So, Dat Dat picked up his baby boy and danced around the living room... Oh, to have been a fly on the wall!
Aren't these the moments we live for?

My how the years are racing by as well...
It is 20 year reunion time... yes, 20 years ago both Todd and I graduated from High School.
I graduated from...

Baker High School in Mobile, AL

And Todd graduated from...

Seminole High School in Seminole, FL.

Both the reunions are this coming weekend and we are not able to go to either... But DAMN we are OLD!!!!

And speaking of racing by... if you happen to be at Walt Disney World very early in the morning on January 9, 2011,  you might just see Todd and myself do that very thing.

Yes, for those of you who don't already know, we have gone completely...

well, Goofy!!!!

We are going to run the 2011 Walt Disney World Marathon!!!!!

WHAT!?!?!?!?

I know.

If you would like to follow our progress you can go here!

Yes, I know, completely GOOFY!!!

Wish us luck!
