Where's Waldo?

Naps on beautiful, sunny, cool Saturday Afternoons with the windows open are AMAZING!  This last Saturday was particularly beautiful... and after having been at work since 6:45am, I arrived home at 3pm.  Todd looked at me and said why don't you take a nap... I feel into bed... but my sweet husband opened the blinds and the window.... it was the best nap ever...

Apparently,  Waldo Grant agreed!

Yes, he is under there... you can barely see his hair.  The Triple Trouble were exhausted.  Todd Jr had a soccer game earlier in the day.  Unfortunately, they lost 3-2.  Better luck next week!  Go Jedi!

Anyway, this is what Dat Dat found when he went to get the boys up... Grant was sleepy but got VERY excited when we said we were going to the BEACH!

It had been such a beautiful day, we decided to watch the sun set!

Aren't the rays of sunlight coming through the clouds beautiful!

It really was nice, if not a little cool and windy.
Just ask Grant.

He was holding on for dear life...
I kept asking him if he was okay...
He would respond with a "da" (not sure who is teaching him Russian) and "told" (that's "cold")...
His toes were even turning blue.

Speaking of cold toes...

Honestly, they would have jumped in if we had let them!

So we did not stay to watch the sun go completely down... Grant was too "told."

Yeah, okay, there is the hair....
UGH!

Have a good week!
Me Me is doing well after her surgery and Foe Foe goes in for his on Wednesday... I will keep you updated.

The boys are excited about Grammie and Dada coming on Thursday...
and can you believe it, Grady Joe will be 4, yes 4, on Saturday.
Wow!

No.... THAT:S Canada....

Do you know where you were exactly 12 years ago?
I do.
Epcot (Formerly EPCOT), flirting arguing with my future husband.
It all goes by so quickly...

This is a special post for Todd Sr.
I love you and look forward to one day again,
 flirting arguing with you,
sitting on a bench in Epcot,
across the lake from the Canadian Pavillion,
"discussing" its specific location.

For those of you who don't "get" this post, I am afraid it is an inside joke in reference to our first "date" (the one Todd didn't bring his roomates on:)

And in reference to the Epcot/EPCOT part of the post.
Epcot was once EPCOT Center...
officially, EPCOT stood for Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow...
However, those of us who were/are Cast Members knew...
Every Person Comes Out Tired
or
Everyones Paycheck Comes On Thursday, and it did!

Let's hear it for Epcot and DRINKING AROUND THE WORLD... and that is a different story.

HA HA HA... I am laughing out loud because Grady is sitting in my lap while I am posting... and just said, when I added the photo of Spaceship Earth, "Mommy, Golf!"
Yes, Grady, but you would need a club more than a mile high to get it to go anywhere.

Oooo, can you guess how many "triangles" are on the ball?

SPRING IS HERE!!!!! We hope...

What a beautiful weekend it was here in Panama City, FL...
Look at that two cute little men in short sleeves...

Saturday was Todd Jr's first Soccer Game of the season....

He is on the Bay County Youth Soccer Association (BCYSA) U8 Team Jedi!!!
Unfortunately, their team colors are Garnet and Gold, but I think the coach and his family are big Seminole fans... so be it!
One of the games we are going to dress Grady in the Jedi costume we have, give him a light saber and let him run up and down the sidelines yelling "May the Force be with You!"

It was a FANTASTIC game...

There was lots of action....

A breather every once in a while....

And then a lot more action....

Team Jedi won 3-0.

Did I mention Todd Jr. scored the first goal?

And the second goal?

And THIRD GOAL?

HAT TRICK.....
Dat Dat was upset because he lost his good Gators hat when the threw it on the field.
Yes, it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was soooooo excited.... he ran around pumping his fists.
The team as a whole worked together well.  Todd just seemed to put himself into the right positions to make the goals.
It is really great also because his good friend Sean is on the team as well and there are even some other players who have been on previous teams with him.  We are all looking forward to a fun and exciting Spring Soccer Season.

On a different note, I am going to ask all our readers to please keep Me Me and Foe Foe in your thoughts and prayers for the next couple of weeks.

As you know, Me Me is an 8 year Breast Cancer Survivor.
Well, on Tuesday, March 16, she is finally having her reconstructive surgery.
She is very excited and looking forward to doing away with her bulky prosthetic.  Maybe she will chop it into little bits or run over it with the car like I did my radiation mask!

And, where one journey ends, another begins...
A couple of weeks ago, Foe Foe had a "spot" removed from his ear.
The doctor sent the sample for tests.
It is melanoma.  Yes, cancer.
He will have surgery on March 24, to remove a chunk from the back of his ear and test the surrounding tissue and lymphnodes to be sure it has not spread.  Foe Foe is very positive and we are sure all will be well.
It just has to be.

Me Me and Foe Foe, the boys and I love you very much.

You know Liz, I am not sure if you are reading this, but aren't you GLAD you don't come from the same gene pool?  PS.... Liz, can you believe it has been 30 years?  You, me and Mom sitting in one bucket seat together, riding home from Mobile... To hell with seat belts and car seats, who needs 'em?  Just Kidding!!!

Happy Birthingday!!!!

Yes, I know I spelled it incorrectly.....
I know it is late in the day, but I want to wish my very special husband....
Happy Birthday!!!
This is one of his favorite photos....
Look at all those handsome men!!!
I am so lucky...
Thank you Todd for taking such good care of all of us...
and for loving me for all my faults...
and even shaving your head... when you really didn't have to...
(PS... I am a little pissed your hair growing faster and longer than mine.. but I digress)
I am so proud of you...
you are a wonderful father and role model...
I love you..
and I miss you...
Miss you?
Yes, Todd left at 6am to drive to Georgia... and he has a cold.

On another topic, Todd Jr started soccer practice today, he was sooo excited.  The coach seems really nice and his good friend Sean is on his team again... Here is hoping for a good soccer season!

Finally, a nice couple of days....

... though I would not know, I was at work from 10am-9pm on Saturday and 11-6 yesterday...
oh well, I got a full report that the Triple Trouble and the Dat Dat had an awesome time at the PLAYGROUND,
both days....
However, I was off last Thursday night and Dat Dat said we should come down to the beach to watch the sunset... so, we did....
Yes, they are all in their coats and I had on two jackets and two shirts, but it really was beautiful.

Before we left to head down there, Grady started taking all his clothes off...
you know, we were going to the beach...
and what do you wear at the beach?
Your swim suit!!!!
I told him it was still too cold...
"But Mommy I WANT to!"
Ahhh, Boys!

Anyway, as I said I had to work this past weekend but I had a couple of nice surprises when I got home....
First, I want to share with you a couple of photos Grammie and Dada sent in a special email....
just for me....
The following are photos from one of my very favorite restaurants, Columbia...

I really hope you enjoyed the sangria, Grammie.....
this stuff is sooooooooooooooo good...

This is a photo of the 1905 Salad....
Honestly, I do not think I have ever ordered an entree from Columbia...
this salad is so very good, why would you want anything else!

Yeah, um, thanks Dada...
I am hungry, are you?
Worst part is the closest one is probably in Tampa... PC just doesn't know what it is missing....
Probably best we don't have one here... I might NEVER cook again.... God Forbid we ever get a Columbia and a Cock of the Walk... never been there?  Exit 5 off I-10 in FL near Pensacola.... check it out if you ever come through....
You know, usually Grammie and Dada call me from Columbia... they decided they could better express their experience through photos.... Thanks (can you hear the sarcasm)
Really, Grammie and Dada are true Angels... their halos may be a little crooked sometimes,
but Angels non the less...

Look what else I had waiting for me when I got home....

My favorites... Purple Tulips....
Someday, I am gonna get Todd to take me to Holland when they are in bloom.
My boys are all so sweet.
Also, I came home to a clean house... how awesome is that....

Finally, I have to admit, I am dreading the next few days....
the what ifs and regrets always haunt me...
can you believe tomorrow will be 6 years?

Monkeying Around!

Hope you all had a great President's Day Weekend!  Ours was cold and a little disappointing.  Todd Jr, Grady, Grant and I had planned to go to Montgomery to see Beeka Beeka and family,  but unfortunatly the threat of SNOW in Montgomery kept us home...
we were all so bummed but we took a raincheck and will make plans to go again another time.
So, we decided to go to the mall to do the bungee jump... um, doesn't open til 3...
it was only 10am and Mommy was NOT going to hang around the oh-so-exciting Panama City Mall any longer than she had to...
MAJOR disappoinment again all the way around and lots of pouty faces...
So after lunch and a nap, we headed out to the mall again....

Here is Todd Jr., waiting to get harnessed... he loves to do this and enjoys flipping forward and backward and making people sick as they watch him go round and round......

Here is Grady, all hooked up and ready to go, this was his first time and he was sooooo excited.... he has to do what ever his big brother does.  He even did a couple of FLIPS!

Yes, even Grant had a turn.  He did not go very high or do any flips this time, but give him a couple of months and he will be out doing his "partners in crime..."

Hope you all also had a great Mardi Gras Day!  I still always think it is strange, other places trying to do the "Mardi Gras Thing".... they even try here... I have to admit, it is just not the same as the real thing... where are the MOONPIES and COCONUTS!!!!!  Anyway, our Mardi Gras excitement was the Pancake Dinner at Church, I realized after we left that I did not get any photos of Todd Jr being the official Pancake topping runner... he was very helpful...

Today was a HUGE day!
Grady Joe had his first visit to the dentist!
A few weeks ago he told me that because he was big that he needed to go to the dentist like Todd.
So, I called and made an appointment.
Needless to say, Todd Sr and I were very skeptical... I mean Grady Joe is our "hesitant" one and can be quite an over reactor.... but, check out the smile....

He was PERFECT.  He was polite, listened and was very helpful!

This is Melissa, she was amazing and so great with Grady...
she told him all that she was doing and let him help with the suction.

Here he is ready to open wide...
Cool Shades, Dude....

Nice pearly whites!

We had to wait a few minutes for Dr. Gerlecz, so Grady got to dig in the treasure drawer because he was soooooooooooo good...
and what else would a little boy pick....
noise/potty putty...
you know that stuff that makes extremely inappropriate sounds... it was so funny, we were all having a good laugh....  but the very best part is that Dr. Gerlecz gave him a glowing report.
He said everything looked wonderful.
What a relief, not that I had any specific concerns, but you always worry.

We all left with big smiles on our faces and as we were walking down the front steps...
Grady said, "That was fun, Mommy!"

Yes it was Grady, yes it was!

On a side note, for any of you that don't really know Grady, he loves music and in the van Dat Dat has an old Hip Hop/Rap CD with various artists like Rob Bass, Vanilla Ice and Salt n' Pepa... well specifically in reference to the last one... Grady asked for his favorite song, well every song is his favorite, but he started singing "Shhh, smush it...."  Ladies and Gentlemen.... "Push It" by Salt n' Pepa as interpreted by Grady Joe... I laughed so hard...

If only we could have had one child with personality...
(I can hear Foe Foe laughing all the way from New Orleans!!!)

Hello there!

Look at that... Grant, Grady and I found the playground version of the Swan Station... It was finally a decent day yesterday, so we headed to the playground... unfortunately, we are expecting rain tonight.
Here is my little red dancing in the car when we went to drop off Todd Jr's homework folder Tuesday morning....
Apparently Grant was hungry on our journey and decided to eat his shoe... um, do you know where that shoe has been little boy... it used to belong to Mason, then Grady, and now you... YUCK!!!!!!!

However, as you can see, he did greatly enjoy his dinner... shoe free!
