Now Todd and I are always telling him not to "monkey around" in the house, there are too many corners, heavy objects and glass shelves. Well, a friend stopped by quickly to drop something off and Todd was so excited that he had to show off that he could jump around on one foot. I had my back to Todd and all of a sudden Melanie, our friend, had a concerned look on her face. I turned around looking for Grant, thinking he'd had a nasty fall or been attacked by one of his older brothers... but no... it was actually a sight I had witnessed before... when Todd's head came in very close contact with a ceiling fan... his face COVERED IN BLOOD. He had fallen and hit his head on the corner of our VERY HEAVY dining table. Check out the cut right in the center of his forehead. So, we will just have to see how the pictures turn out:) By the way, he is perfectly fine. All three boys have heads as hard as bricks. However, I am thankful he did not have to get stitches this time.
Looks like we are at the beach doesn't it? Nope, the back yard in the retention pond. In general it stays completely dry. If it ever does collect water it is usually gone in a matter of a couple of hours. Todd and Grady love to play in it with their friends. Can't wait til it warms up a little more so we can go to the beach.
