Busy, Busy, Busy
Sorry it has been so long, but we have had lots going on here! T-ball has begun. Todd Jr plays for the Braves and he especially loves his assistant coach... (only Todd Sr makes Todd Jr call him coach instead of Daddy:)) Me Me and Foe Foe got to go to the first game and had a "ball!" Foe Foe had an exceptionally good time chasing Grady around the complex... Grady Joe has his Foe Foe wrapped around his little finger. At the second game, Todd went 2 for 2 hitting the ball without the Tee!!! He is really enjoying playing T-ball and Soccer and is looking forward to Football in the fall!
To raise funds for the league, they gave out coupons to a local restaurant... as you can tell, Grady really enjoyed the ribs.
Finally, we can share that Grant has a clean bill of health! Last week, during his 4 month check up, the Dr. was concerned about his weight (he had only gained a little over 2lbs since birth), and also that there was the potential that the sutures in his head may have prematurely fused and he may need surgery to correct, not to mention, an ear infection to top it off!!! After going for a CT scan in Destin, for which Foe Foe thankfully tagged along while Me Me watched Grady Joe, we were referred to the neurosurgeon at Shands in Gainesville. Needless to say, it is always difficult returning to Shands, especially being so close to Esme's 4th Birthday. After a long drive there, we were met with the smiling faces of Grammie and Dada who drove up from Tampa to lend emotional support and a helping hand with Todd and Grady. After a short wait, we were able to see the Dr. who walked in, wondered why in the world we were there... he said we had a beautiful baby with a beautiful head... said he would grow out of it and it was just the way he was laying in bed/carseat/swing.... he even showed us on the CT that all was well... RELIEF!!!!! Tuesday, we will have another weigh in to check the progress there, but even the neurosurgeon said, without knowing the issue already, that he was the perfect size and "fun to hold!" He is a little bundle of energy, he rolls over already and loves to wiggle... as a matter of fact his nickname is Mr. Wigglesworth!!!
And last, but most certainly not least, we celebrated Grady's 2nd Birthday! I don't even think he touched the cupcake... we thought we might get some good messy pictures but all he really wanted was ICE CREAM!!! Happy Birthday Little Red!!!
